If a prayer for the recovery of the sick is to be offered, it should be done thus:
Take a bowl of Phool (An Alloy) filled with water, place it so that it may be in full view of the patient and him who prays. Then prayer should be offered. Prayer for recovery at the last moment is useless. At that time it should be for the absolution of sins. This process is not permissible in case of pthisis or contagious diseases. Water should not be placed in such cases. A simple prayer can however be offered
